Argos Wityu in partnership with Bip’s Management to fuel the growth
Milan, 09 May 2014 – Argos Wityu announces the acquisition of a controlling stake of Bip, the innovative Management Consulting Company operating mainly in Telco & Media, Energy & Utilities, Pharma, Healthcare and Financial Services.
The funds managed by Argos Wityu completed the acquisition of a controlling stake of BIP alongside with key managers, led by Mr. Troiani, Mr. Capè and Mr. Lo Bianco. In the deal arranged by Argos, other 9 key managers became investors.
The deal, full equity, was particularly complex, being a little multinational group, with offices in Italy, Spain, Brazil, Argentina, Uk, Tunisia, Malaysia and many ongoing projects in the Gulf Area and in Turkey.
Founded in 2003, Bip has been a success story. With a double digit annual growth rate and after the management buy-out from the majority shareholder (Engineering Group) in December 2007, Bip has become the largest partnership in the Italian consulting sector and was looking for new funds to speed the growth.
Bip’s consolidated revenues in 2013 were €75 million.
