Latteria e Caseificio Moro accelerates its development both in Italy and abroad with Argos Wityu.

Milan (Italy), October 23, 2019 – Latteria e Caseificio Moro, company boasting more than 90 years in the production and sale of fresh milk derivatives, today announced it welcomed Argos Wityu, European independent investment fund with a 30-year track record, as shareholder to support its growth in Italy and abroad.

Leading producer and seller in the fresh cheese sector in Italy, Latteria e Caseificio Moro is based in Motta di Livenza, in the province of Treviso. Distinctive products include mozzarella, ricotta and PDO Montasio cheese sold in Italy, with a specific focus on the foodservice channel. With above €40m revenues, Moro boasts more than 20-year-long relationships with its main clients and in its sector and has reached unique production efficiency standards.

Maurizio Moro, CEO, will continue to develop Latteria e Caseificio Moro with the support of Argos Wityu, focusing on one hand on organic growth led by strong relationships with existing clients; on the other, on the opening of new markets in Europe, leveraging on Argos’ international network and the team’s deep knowledge of the food sector.

These goals will be targeted without leaving the path chosen years ago, based on the same constant innovation of the productive process that made the success of the company.
