Since then, the group has diversified its product offering into a complete range of fragrance products including lamps, reed diffusers, candles… and dozens of different fragrances. Maison Berger’s products are designed and manufactured in Normandy, France and sold all over the world (75% of revenue is outside France) through a network of 7,000 distributors in more than 50 countries.

We invested in Maison Berger in 2017 to help the group write a new page of its century-old story: with a reinforced top management team and together with the group’s 150 experienced employees, we have identified a strong potential for accelerated growth. Product diversification, reinforcement of the positioning of the brand, new routes-to-market, and innovation are the main drivers. Limited leverage leaves ample room for manoeuvre for these initiatives.

Since our investment, many new products have already been launched with tremendous success and the company has been rebranded from Lampe Berger to Maison Berger Paris to better reflect this product diversification.
A new e-commerce platform was started in France and then rolled out globally. And much more is still to come to address potential customers to whom Maison Berger’s iconic products and Pur-Art-de-Vivre© are appealing.
