What we achieved together

Carve out

Melica Software was a carve-out from The Sage Group (UK listed software group) which comprised of four companies; three in France (Akanea, Salvia and I’Car Systems) and one in Spain (Aytos).

Recruiting efforts

We reinforced the top management through hires and promotions.

Companies made significant recruitment efforts in sales force, product development, marketing and services to expand market presence.

R&D investments

Significant investments were made in R&D, fully revamping the product offering and addressing clients’ needs ever more effectively.

International expansion

I’Car acquired its Spanish and Portuguese distributors.

Acquisitions

The companies executed and integrated eight acquisitions in total.

Four build-up notably enabled Salvia to expand its product offering to include process digitisation and property management.

“We had planned to sell I’car in 2017, but this was postponed due to the planned merger with Datafirst. When the opportunity arose, we seized it. Thanks to this transaction, I’car became a leading European player of interest to a larger number of buyers.”
