Following the acquisition of IJssel Technologie (closed on December 22, 2022), a Dutch industrial maintenance services provider, Bas Ambachtsheer is appointed CEO and Chris van Overbeeke CFO. The objective is to reinforce the company’s robust market position by accelerating commercial developments, boosting innovation, contributing to the energy transition, and deploying a clear M&A strategy.
Bas Ambachtsheer was previously the CTO of Colliers, a leading diversified professional service and real estate investment management company, where he was responsible for digitalisation of the current business with a focus on Property Management in the area of smart buildings. Trained as an engineer with a strong commercial profile, Bas joins IJssel Technologie with 20 years in the industry through various operational and executive roles in maintenance and industrial services (Stork Fokker, Engie-Equans, and Croonwolter&Dros-TBI). Skilled in re-building organizations and teams into successful and innovative businesses, Bas is an executive with vision and in-depth experience in driving sales, developing high value customer propositions, innovation, and digitalization. His track record in innovation and connected/sustainable energy solutions in industry will be of significant value to grow IJssel Technologie.
Chris van Overbeeke is an experienced CFO who most recently filled the role within Cohedron, during the time Argos Wityu (2017-2021) and subsequently House of HR (2021-2022) were shareholders of the Dutch service provider. Over the past 30 years, Chris, after 15 years at EY, has worked as an independent consultant and (ad interim) CFO across a range of industries. He notably was CFO of TIE Kinetix, a EURONEXT listed IT Company, and ID&T, the world’s leading electronic music experience company.
