Argos Wityu announces changes in the management team of Wibit

Wibit, a company supported by Argos Wityu, has announced changes in the set-up of its management board. Robert Cirjak, co-founder of the German world market leader for floating water parks, is transitioning from day-to-day operations to a brand ambassador position on the supervisory board, thus paving the way for an orderly succession process. Ralf Schwung moves up to the management board and will lead the company together with co-founder Romann Rademacher.

Ralf Schwung has been Wibit’s head of finance since 2021. He has a background in commerce and business management and has held management positions in a wide range of industries over the past 20 years, such as the processing industry, IT, events and building industries and beverage production. He has led teams of up to 1,500 employees to growth and improved results in medium-sized, entrepreneurial companies as well as in corporate entities. Robert Cirjak will actively stay involved in the further development of the company as member of the supervisory board, continuing to take on representative tasks as a global brand ambassador for Wibit.

Romann Rademacher, co-founder of Wibit, said “Over the past few years, Ralf has significantly contributed to the strategy, optimization and design of our business and processes, beyond his responsibilities. With his strength in implementing ideas, his ability to focus on the essentials and his personality, he is the best possible fit for our values, our culture and our future challenges.”

Ralf Schwung, newly appointed managing director at Wibit, said “I very much look forward to expanding my area of responsibility and the new task of further developing the company in terms of sales and organization in order to use the dynamic developments around us to expand our market share. It is an honor to be able to lead Wibit’s unique positioning and culture into the future.”

Robert Cirjak, member of Wibit’s supervisory board, said “Just like a soccer player knows when it’s time to hang up their cleats, I realize that now is the right time for me to step onto the sidelines and pass on my experience. As Wibit’s brand ambassador, I am excited to continue building and nurturing relationships for Wibit as the company continues to grow.”

Frank Hermann, Managing Partner at Argos Wityu said “Robert and Romann have built a fascinating global market leader and a firm with a unique culture over the past 27 years. We are pleased to have the right person in place to start an orderly succession process and to have Robert staying involved on the supervisory board to continue to contribute his invaluable innovative spirit and vast experiences.”
