La Compagnie Des Desserts
The Group generates revenues above €90m (45% outside of France) through the operation of three manufacturing plants in France and in the UK, as well as with subsidiaries across Europe and USA.
Premium product quality, innovation and service excellence have enabled La Compagnie des Desserts to attract over 15,000 professional customers across Europe.
Our funds have invested a majority stake in La Compagnie des Desserts’ capital in December 2016, and at the same time completed a first external growth step with the takeover of the UK group Destiny Foods.
The former managers wanted to retire and so we invested alongside a new management team in a management buy-in (MBI), with very limited leverage. Our joint purpose is to bring the necessary human and financial resources to strengthen the Group’s position as a leader in its market.
Growth has accelerated thanks to innovation and operational performance. New initiatives were added recently to further foster expansion: the “Artisan Givré” consumer brand and a franchising network development under the “Louise” brand.
