Can you introduce yourself in a few words?

I’m married and living in Frankfurt, Germany
Tell us about your career and how you joined Argos.
Fabian
After university I joined PwC and worked for various private equity clients, while in parallel doing my PhD in entrepreneurial finance. As such, the switch to the GP-side was a logical consequence.
Is this the path you thought you would take when you started your studies?
Fabian
Definitely not. I was only sure that I would do something related to finance.
What is your definition of PE? How do you see it?
Fabian
Partnering with management teams to bring companies to the next level and generate value for all stakeholders, while attributing more and more importance to sustainability, decarbonisation and ESG in general.
What gets you out of bed in the morning?
Fabian
New projects, questions and challenges make every day different.
What encounter - or moment - stands out in your time at Argos?
Fabian
The teamwork among all offices, which makes us unique in our size range.
How do you find balance in your life as a whole?
Fabian
A mix of sports and meeting up with family and close friends.
Outside of your job, what are your passions or commitments?
Fabian
Tennis, Running, Family and Friends.
Do you have a special place that reflects who you are, that inspires you and contributes to your balance?
Fabian
Running in the forest or along the river as well as skiing in the Alps.
