The world of private equity has changed a lot in recent years. What is your definition of PE? How do you see it?

For me, private equity means bringing skills and human and financial resources to a company in order to step up its development.
The world of private equity has changed a lot in recent years. It has been attracting more and more investors in search of higher yields in a low-interest-rate environment as well as those who want to give more meaning to their investments. All this has intensified competition. So you have to be able to demonstrate performance over a long period and differentiate yourself.
This is what Argos has been doing for nearly 30 years. Argos has longstanding expertise in acquiring companies through atypical transactions, and more recently Argos has launched a strategy aimed at supporting European companies in their environmental transition.
