My name is Alex Raicher. I am a dual national (French and British), married and the proud father of a 6-month-old boy.

The world of private equity has changed a lot in recent years. What is your definition of PE? How do you see it?
Alex
Not all PE houses are equal, but the good ones (including Argos) are not just financial engineering experts. Rather, they create value at the company level and help businesses realise their potential, both commercially and on ESG topics. These managers will stand the test of time.
What gets you out of bed in the morning?

You interact daily with managers. Is there an entrepreneur you admire in the market? OR In a more general way, is there a person you admire, who inspires you on a daily basis? (e.g., writer, artist, politician, etc.)

How do you balance your professional and personal life?

Outside of your job, what are your passions or commitments?

I love both watching and practising a lot of different sports.
In terms of watching, I follow Formula One very closely.
But as a new dad, I am mainly trying to spend as much time as possible with my son!
